MSI GT683 and GT780 Gaming Laptop Review and Features:
MSI has introduced two new G Series gaming laptops at Computex 2011. They include the 15.6-inch GT683 and 17.3-inch GT780 feature Intel second generation Core i7 quad core processor, new generation nVidia discrete graphics card, and MSI’s own TDE overclocking technology.
The MSI GT683 is equipped with up to 8GB of DDR3 memory, two 640GB hard drives (7200rpm), DVD burner, and a 2 megapixel webcam.
The MSI GT780 has up to 16GB of memory, dual HDD with up to 1TB of space, and HD type 720p capable webcam. MSI GT780 offers five keyboard backlighting scenarios to choose from—Normal, Gaming, Wave, Breathing, and Dual Color.
The MSI GT683 and GT780 come with full HD (1920 x 1080) high resolution screens, a Nvidia GeForce GTX 560M GPU with 1.5GB of VRAM, 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, HDMI output, USB 3.0 ports, a 9-cell battery, high performance Dynaudio and THX TruStudio Pro smart wrap around sound.
